My name is Quentin and I recently came across my old vic 20 in my attic. Trouble is the bloody thing won't work now. I even scooped out the mouse poop but no joy. Anybody know a good place for schematics or common problems solved?
Anyway I see this section is for discussion of ourselves. Should we start with the meaning of self or existentialism to kick things off?

What power supply does it have? The earlier models had the built in power supply board that was later replaced by the TCP-1280 power module from PowerCap. I haven't been able to find another earlier board with the built in power supply, but there's a Computer repair center in Philidelphia that has the PowerCap boards. I might still have the information somewhere. I accidentally stumbled upon the repair shop when I was doing a couple of speeches at the University there. Very cool place. Even had a bunch of old Tandy game cartridges for my TRS-80!  I bought them all. Except Dungeons of Daggorath, as I already have two copies. PrissyProfessor xoxo |
